I've been more motivated than ever to get comfortable putting myself in front of the camera. In my latest pregnancy update I think I got just a little too comfortable and rambled far too much, LOL.

Be that it may, watch as I go in to detail about my experiences of pregnancy during weeks 23 through 24.

Is Friday The 13th Superstitious?

Friday the 13th I pulled out my camera and decided to follow myself around a little bit. In other words I filmed my first vlog. I may look a mess and definitely had a hard time keeping the camera in good position but it's a start.

My goal is to master my vlogging and filming skills before my son gets here so that me and my little family can join the Daily Vloggers of Youtube.

Although I do not had any goals pertaining to viewers or financial gains in this journey I am very excited to film my sons life and share out priceless memories with the world!

Glucose Test | Gestational Diabetes + Vlog

So, I got the most exciting news today. I PASSED my glucose test!!!!!!!

I know to the average person my reaction is a little dramatic but for me and most pregnant women news that mommy and baby are healthy brings on the best feeling in the world.

Although I forgot to record from my doctors office, I did a little pre and post vlogging to explain everything you need to know about my glucose test experience. Enjoy!

North West takes New York Fashion Week

In case you haven't already heard, Baby North West stole the show at her daddies fashion presentation during New York Fashion Week. According to her maternal grandmother, Kris Jenner, North ran out of patience waiting for her fashionably late papa to start the show.

Pictured above, North West is being held front row center by mommy, Kim Kardashian West. They were surrounded by Fashion Editor, Anna Wintour, Jay Z and Beyonce and so many other celebrities who came out to support the Kanye's presentation.

A picture says a thousand words but Beyonce and Anna's mute facial expressions are priceless!!!

25 Week Pregnancy Symptoms

I uploaded a video discussing my experiences during my 25th week of pregnancy. Being so close to the third trimester, I'm so proud to say that my baby boy is healthy and kicking more than ever. Enjoy!

Gilligan & O‘Malley Nursing Bra Review

Women‘s Nursing Seamless Bra - Gilligan & O‘Malley®Women‘s Nursing Seamless Bra - Gilligan & O‘Malley®

During pregnancy the average women's breast alone gain about 2 pound. Although I do not know the weight of my bust I can easily make an educated guess that I have reached my 2 pound gains and I am only 27 weeks along. Before pregnancy my bra size was a 34DD which was large for my body frame. By the completion of my first trimester I had already gained well over a full cup size. If I had to guess, my current bra size would be at least a 36DDDD or simply a 36F.

Since I do plan to breast feed my son his entire first year of life I am aware that good support, easy access for feedings and comfort are things I should prepare for starting now.

So far I have accumulated a few maternity bras and my favorite happen to be the Gilligan & O'Malley line found at Target. This brand offers size Small - XXLarge options which saves me the hassle of having to keep up with being sized every time a bra gets snug. They offer maximum support along with having the comfort of a wire free sports bra. The quick release clips for nursing are secure enough so that your bra only comes undone when you detach it for feeding. Even cooler, they are very affordable, ranging in price from $18.99 to $59.00.

The bra pictured above is my favorite. I have it in the black and nude color options. My nude bra is a size large which fits perfectly and my black one is a size Xlarge, which fits great enough to wear now yet has enough room for when my milk supply comes in..

I would recommend these bras to all new and expecting moms. As your body endures so much during pregnancy, these bras provide the support you will need on your back effortlessly and they look so smooth and flattering no matter what shirt you are wearing over it. I even sleep in mine often and never feel any discomfort. On your next shopping trip to Target, be sure the grab a few to try on and see for yourself!

Pregnancy Vlog | Weeks 14 - 22 Second Trimester

I recorded a quick vlog talking about my experiences during week 14 through week 22 of my second trimester of pregnancy. You can definitely tell I am new to this whole record myself talk about myself thing but I am definitely enjoying it!

Be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel @AshleyBedeck so that you can watch my growth as I continue to post videos at least 3 times a week.

Behind The Lens Of A Not So Tech Savvy Girl

Being the Youtube junkie that I have become, I have accumulated plenty of clothes, shoes and beauty products that my favorite gurus have convinced me are absolute must haves. Not me personally, but through hauls and reviews I'm always adding new items to my wishlist. Some of my favorite items that I have hauled over the years are my prized Canon cameras and accessories. I currently own the Cannon 60D that came with a kit lens, a Canon 50mm lens to take cool pictures and videos with depth of field and my beloved Canon Powershot Elph 320 HS.

I purchased my Canon 60D with the kit 15-135mm lens for $1200 (plus tax) from Best Buy almost 2 years ago. The only con to this camera for me is that it does not feature a continuous auto focus option. This makes it difficult to know if you are in focus throughout the duration of recording a video or taking your own professional pictures where you are your own camera (wo)man as well as the talent in front of the lens.

A way that Canon makes up for this feature is the editing software that come with the camera. The combination of apps included on the Eyecup, EOS Solutions Disk are perfect for connecting your camera directly to your computer and having the option to start, stop and focus your camera without having to move from your filming position to adjust the camera.

Some of my favorite accessories for my DSLR camera are my 2 tripods (1 desktop and one 60" floor tripod), 2 memory cards (16 GB and 32 GB), a remote, and my beloved 50mm lense. This lens cost $100 (plus tax) and is the perfect starter lens for creating depth of field. I plan to use this lens for recording beauty videos and taking awesome photography shots of my baby boy as he grows over the years.

Last but not least, my Canon PowerShot Elph 320 HS was purchased from Best Buy for about $150 (plus tax). Although I have yet to put this camera to the test, this camera is hands down the most used vlogging camera among my favorite vloggers so I know it will be perfect for me and my family.

I will keep you all posted as I learn my way around my Canon Suite of photography!

What's your passion?

On this journey to motherhood people often bombard me with their words of advice. Weather it's useful to me or not I welcome every bit of it because I know there is so much to learn and if someone can save me from a few mistakes or a couple sleepless nights than I am one lucky mama!

Probably my favorite piece of advice came from a much older colleague. She asked me what i'm passionate about. I hesitated then replied FAMILY. Her advice was for me to find my passion in life, something that's just for me and work at making it apart of my everyday life. At first I did not understand how this would be good advice for a pregnant women but she is so right. Being the woman of the house is a full time job that so easily can make you forget about yourself. But loving yourself and living a fulfilling life including moments just for you can make a world of difference on the energy you bring into your home and the example you set for your little ones.

Starting my own family where I am the only girl, my goal is to take my passion for family, fashion, beauty and combine it with my enthusiasm for social media to create my own little world where I can take you with me through vlogging, beauty videos and blog posts, pictures and so much more.

My goal is produce 3 or more videos on my personal Youtube channel @AshleyBedeck and share my thoughts at least twice a week here on my blog aka my new diary. Be sure to also follow me on Instagram @Ashley_Bedeck for daily updates and tons of #Seflies!

Pregnancy Vlog | First Trimester

From the start of my pregnancy I knew that I would want to document the entire 9 month experience. Being the procrastinator that I am, I missed out on capturing me and daddies initial reactions when we got our first positive  pregnancy test, trying out all of the old wives tales to determine babies gender and so much more. Although I regret missing those moments so much, I know that it's not too late to bring my channel up to speed and not miss another moment. In this video I recant my first trimester experience. Although it's iphone quality, recording this first video was definitely motivation to keep the videos coming.Who knows, this may be the start of daily vlogs. Enjoy!
